Sameach Podcast # 47 with Nachum Segal

Dov and Sruly recorded the 47th Episode of the Sameach Music Podcast from the Spring Mountain Resort in upstate NY. They debuted brand new music from A.K.A. PELLA 3, as well as new music from Dovid Gabay, The 8th Note, Avraham Fried (Oorah), Siman Tov Mazel Tov.

While they were there they met with Nachum Segal. Nachum was kind enough to lend them his time and they all had quite a great conversation. This interview goes on for 45 minutes. It's the off the cuff style you have come to expect from Dov and Sruly, only with the biggest name in Jewish Radio, Nachum Segal.

This track was written by the remarkably talented Israeli artist - Aron Razel. MBD & Aron Razel join Yeedle with original vocals on this sure-to-be-a-hit song. The trio blend is phenomenal! The title of the album is Rikod Rikod. This song is off the charts!! Yeedle and Lipa wrote the lyrics and you will sure be “rikoding” to it real soon.

The dynamic arrangements were created by the masters in this arena: Moshe Laufer, Eli Laufer, Moshe Mona Rosenblum and Aron
Razel. All choirs were conducted and recorded impeccably, in Israel by Moshe Mona Rosenblum. Mixing and post-production work has been keeping the maestro Eli Lishinsky real busy. The powerful forces collaborating on Yeedle's album attest to his talent and sophistication.

All fans will be delighted to learn that the scheduled release date is Shavuos time.

R' Ovadai Yosef No Ban On MBD, Shwekey Chabad Concert

In the ongoing saga of the concert-banning issue, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef has drawn a stark contrast with the Rabbonim in American who purportedly signed onto "The Big Event" concert ban, by responding to a question submitted by singer Yaakov Shwekey. The singer, to be participating in an upcoming concert in Israel, faced the same agitation created by activists here, but, Rabbi Yosef wrote in his letter, as long as mingling is clearly prevented and and a clear mechitzah is established, there is no cause for concern, as the event in question is merely a concert to be mesamayach people and convey divrei brachah.

During the wedding of Isar and Chaya Mushka New Crown Heights a new special disk was distributed called "Niggunim from my father's house" sung by the Friedman family starring Avrohom Fried. As was first reported on Shturem that Avrohom Fried was in the midst of recording a new disk with songs that their father Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Friedman obm taught them throughout the years. During the recording of the album Avrohom Fried's brothers, Manis, Yosef Boruch, Benzion, Shlomo, Alter Eliyahu and Avrohom Fried himself, and their children were all brought in to the studio and joined in the singing.
