Ben Snoop – Im Eshkocheich Yerusholayim - Single

Ben Snoop just released his first single – “Im Eshkocheich Yerusholayim” – from his upcoming new album. Ben Snoop is one of the newer Israeli singer surprises of the past year. At the age of 14-year-old he released his first album and was defined as a “Yeled Hapella” with the song :B’gan Hakochavim,” which was a huge hit the is played on radio today. This song was written by Yoav Ginai and the melody by Zvika, who works especially for Ben.

After his last album was released, Ben Snoop returned to yeshiva and began to study at Archos Ari in Safed. He decided to abandon the world of music and to stop singing. Hebron Trabelsi, an educator that is known in northern Israel, persuaded him to sing and decided to produce his album. His first album was produced by musical Yogev Jasmine.

The song “Im Eshkocheich Yerusholayim” was originally sung by Yaakov Shwekey. It was one of the familiar songs sung in the past year following Snoop’s return to the music scene. Following the great success of the song, Snoop has become a busy one singing events. He was requested by Kobi Peretz who hosted three of his great performances in recent months, one at the Sultan’s Pool, and two instances in Caesarea. This song is in demand, and its success led to a special remix version of “Dante Music”.

After Yochanan Shapiro composed this heartfelt song, he was probably smiling. He probably continues to have satisfaction when he hears it sung the way it's supposed to be sung. Unfortunately, I'm afraid he's frowning right now. :-(

When hearing a song with these words, I should not feel like I'm shopping in a Sketchers outlet.
